The cooperation agreement came into effect between Ulyanovsk State University and Representative office of the German service of academic exchanges (DAAD) at the Embassy of Germany in Moscow. This agreement envisages joint work in the field of university education, in organization of the international partnership in the field of the faculty and students exchange, and also in carrying out research projects and strengthening cultural ties. The lecturer of DAAD Johanna Sievers has been teaching since September 1, 2014 at USU.
The International cultural scientific and educational Russian-Czech center within the agreement with the South Moravian center of international mobility and Masaryk University (Brno) has been working at USU. The center regularly offers free courses on the Czech language studying for senior students of technical specialties at USU for the purpose of preparing for a master's course at a Czech higher education institution with possibility of receiving a scholarship from the Czech side. In 2014/2015 academic year lecturer Yana Valentova continues to conduct classes with students both at a high, advanced level and began work with a new group of listeners to study the Czech language at the initial level.
