USU students win the All-Russian case contest
The All-Russian contest for the best student case on social entrepreneurship was organized by the Agency for Social Investments and Innovations. Full-time students were invited to participate. During a month and a half in the online format, they learned to compose and describe cases of social and entrepreneurial businesses using the best Russian and foreign practices as examples. The project is supported by the Social Investment Fund and the Social Support Commission “Support of Russia” using a grant from the President of the Russian Federation.
As a result, students of the Institute of Economics and Business of USU were among the winners and prize winners. Sergey Schukin (program “Economic Security”, 2nd year, group EB-O-18/2) took the 1st place, Diana Torosyan (program “Economic Security”, 2nd year, group EB-O-18) / 2), 3rd - Anastasia Arbuzova (program “Business Informatics”, major “Digital Economy”, 2nd year, group BI-O-18/1). Associate Professor of IEB Ekaterina Rozhkova was the advisor of the students with their participation in the contest.
In a letter of gratitude addressed to the Rector, ASII Director General Margarita Slavgorodskaya mentioned the responsible attitude of USU students to the performance of competitive tasks. The contest will result in a description of at least 100 cases of social enterprises that are going to be included in the case library and form the basis of the tasks of the All-Russian case championship for schoolchildren and students.
