Participate in the contest “Poems about the city”. Win a trip to Venice!

The Center for Urban Competencies of the Strategic Initiatives Agency and the Russian Literature Support Fund announce the contest “Poems about the city”. Any resident of Russia can participate in the period from November 18 to December 21. To do this, you need to register on the platform "100gorodov", publish a poem composed personally about the city in which you were born or live now, by clicking on the “apply” button. Creative works will be evaluated according to the following criteria:

stylist works.

The expert council of the competition will determine 1 and 2 prizes:

Andrei Urgant - theater and film actor, TV presenter, showman;

Denis Kotov – the founder of the book network “Bookvoed”, ideologist of the project “BEST.Petersburg”; Lusia Morentsova - Petersburg poetess, president of the Street Poetry Foundation, master of poetic performance, author of the project “Poems at Bus Stops”;

Vladimir and Yuri Torsuev - Soviet and Russian actors, the main characters of the film "The Adventures of Electronics";

Pavel Markasov - Chairman of the Board of the Fund for Support of Domestic Literature, lawyer.

The 3rd place will be awarded to the author of the poem, which will gain the most votes from users of the portal.

On December 25, the announcement ceremony of the winners’ names.

Prizes for the winners are the following:

1st place - participation in the international project of the Fund for the Support of Russian Literature “Book for You”, which is to be held in Venice in February 2020.

2nd place - making a professional video with the poem recital by the author, its subsequent coverage in the framework of the Creative People project.

3rd place - a book, collected works of S. Yesenin.
