USU students perform before war veterans on Victory Day
Two festive concerts on Victory Day were arranged by USU representatives for war veterans and residents of the city. Russian and international students gave their performance in Novoulyanovsk and the members of the hardening and cold swimming club congratulated residents on the Sviyaga River Embankment. USU students prepared a festive programme composed of patriotic poems and songs. The students of the faculty of Medicine performed an Indian dance Garba.
-“I am proud of studying at USU after such events!” – Anastasia Komel, a student of the Faculty of the Humanities and Social Technologies shared her emotions. “On one stage the students of different faculties, nationalities and interests gathered but one thing unites us all – the love to our university and our country.
The members and activists of the hardening and cold swimming club arranged a concert for residents of the campus. The chief director and organizer was Valentina Glasnova, associate professor of the Faculty of Physical Culture and Rehabilitation. The members of the cold swimmers club performed song of war years.
