USU specialists conduct professional orientation lessons at lyceum No. 40 in the framework of the education decade
The event was timed to coincide Teachers' Day. Three open physics lessons were given at the lyceum of physics, mathematics and informatics No. 40 affiliated with USU. School students of the tenth grade were listeners, teachers of the Engineering and Physics Faculty of high technologies were lecturers. Alexander Solovyov, associate professor, the dean of EPFHT gave practical classes in the solution of increased complexity problems on the USE. Professor Roza Gurina gave a lecture "Cosmological Universe Models within the General Theory of Relativity". The master class of associate professor Igor Yavtushenko was devoted to entertaining experiments on physics. Besides, children heard stories about a way to science from successful graduates of the lyceum who became USU students.
It was decided to celebrate Teachers' Day with open lessons that arouse interest in physics annually.
