2016-02-08 10:20 On the night from February 7 to February 8 Lunar New Year is celebrated. It is at this time that Wooden Goat is replaced by the year of Fiery Monkey. Like any other New Year the Oriental one has a plenty of traditions. It has been celebrated for more than two thousand years since it is considered to be the immemorial holiday of seeing the New Year in. It is celebrated with traditional oriental dishes, paper lanterns are made and fireworks displays and dragon dancing are arranged.
