The signing ceremony of the document was help on March 18 during the meeting
of the university administration. The document was signed by Yury Osokin, the
managing director of the operational office of Ulyanovsk, Otkrytie FC, and
Kostishko, the Rector of USU.
On March 24, Boris Mikhailovich attended
the meeting of the Board of the Russian Union of Rectors, which has become part
of the program of the forum. The meeting was chaired by the Rector of Moscow
State University, President of the RUR, Viktor Sadovnichy. The members of the academic
community discussed topical issues of higher education.
Today, on March 27, the First forum of Rectors of universities of the
Kyrgyz Republic and the Russian Federation “Development of science and
education - investments in the future” is going to be held in the Ala-Archa
state residence. It is going to be attended by delegations from 70 Russian
universities. At the meeting a cooperation agreement is expected to be signed
between the Association of Higher Education Institutions of the Republic and
the Russian Union of Rectors.
The Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russia and the Council for
grants of the President of the Russian Federation summarized the results of the contest for the right to receive
presidential grants in 2019–2020 for state support of young Russian scientists
and for state support for leading scientific schools in the country.
Cooperation agreements were
signed at the First Forum of Rectors of Russian and Kyrgyz Universities in
Bishkek. In partnership relations Ulyanovsk State University is now tied up
with I. Razzakov Kyrgyz State Technical University, J. Balasygan Kyrgyz
National University, Kyrgyz Economic University named after M. Ryskulbekov and I. Arabaev Kyrgyz State University.
By order of Governor Sergey Morozov, dated March 27, 2019, Andrei
Viktorovich Zhukov, PhD in Physical and Mathematical Sciences was awarded the
honorary title “Honored Worker of Science and Technology of the Ulyanovsk
Region” for his great contribution to the development of education, science,
training of qualified specialists and many years of fruitful research and teaching
activities in the region.
The XVI International Festival of Languages “Many Nations - One World”
was opened at I.N. Ulyanov USPU on March
30. The event was attended by Arab students of the preparatory department of
the Center for Russian Language and Culture and senior students from Lebanon,
Egypt, Iraq, Syria, Palestine, Jordan and Israel.
