2019-09-03 08:14

Lyudmila Belova, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Professor of the Department of Neurology, Neurosurgery, Physiotherapy and Physical Therapy, and Valeria Abramova,  a post-graduate student, chief freelance specialist in medical rehabilitation of the Ministry of Healthcare of the Ulyanovsk Region, are actively participating in international multicenter clinical research.

“Childhood epilepsy negatively affects the development of the child, its cognitive functions, can cause injuries of varying severity, a life-threatening state in the form of an epileptic status, accompanied by the development of cerebral edema,” said Lyudmila Belova. “Doing this research will contribute to the emergence of new approaches to the treatment of this socially significant disease, to improving the quality of medical care for children suffering from epilepsy.”
