The defense of master’s theses of the Department of Finance and Credit at the Faculty of Business took place on January 22, handing diplomas - February 1. Nine of the thirteen newly graduated financiers received honors diplomas.

According to the results of training and successful defense of the master’s thesis, all graduates were awarded a master’s degree in the Financial Management program.

The holders of the master’s degree possess modern methodology and applied tools for managing the finances of organizations of various forms of ownership and sectors of the national economy, including financial and credit organizations, and the sphere of public finances.

Graduates can be proud of their professional competencies and practical skills in the field of financial planning and forecasting, cash flow management, portfolio investment, business valuation, valuation of basic and derivative financial instruments, and risk management.

During their studies, students took an active part in research activities, the preparation of publications and conferences at various levels. A special feature of the program is a combination of basic training in financial management with highly specialized knowledge that allows you to quickly acquire the necessary professional skills: the use of new technologies in a changing market reality, diagnostics and analysis of various sources of financial information, the art of operational management decisions, actions in unusual situations and conditions of uncertainty.
