The Russian Ministry of Education and Science and Sirius bring together  youth and business to solve priority objectives in the interests of the country

The All-Russian program “Sirius. Summer: start your project”, designed to bring together students that would like to solve the pressing problems of science, technology and business, was launched as part of the conception of smart rest.

Undergraduates and graduate students of regional universities, students of 3-5 years are going to be the mentors of the project. Under their guidance, school students of 8-11 grades are going to be involved in the development of scientific, technological, engineering and research projects in accordance with the Strategy for Scientific and Technological Development of Russia and critical technologies developed in each of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation. The “customers” are expected to be industrial companies and research institutes of the country.

Universities are going to create jobs for mentor students through regional programs to support students during internships, own resources of universities and support from the Ministry of Education and Science.

The project collection from partners is to last until August 1. The registration of tutors and school children is from June 24 to August 1. Student project selection is to take place from July 1 to August 1. Students will be able to choose a project from July 1 to August 31.
