An online international linguistic forum has been held at USU
Specialists of the Institute of International Relations and the USU History
Museum organized an international online foreign language conference for students and schoolchildren “Linguoculturological
Aspects of Antoine de Saint-Exupery” dedicated to the 120th birthday
of the French writer.
The event was attended by speakers from France,
Finland, representatives of the Center for Francophonics Studies at Moscow
State Linguistic University, the Civil Aviation Museum of UIGA, the
Alliance-Frances International Center in Ulyanovsk, and members of the
Russian-French Sittings Club of RUDN University.
In the year of celebrating the 75th anniversary of the victory over fascism, conference participants spoke about pilots from the Second World War, about the Normandy-Neman squadron, and about the founder of the international linguistic and cultural center of the center at USU Nikolai Yatsenko.
