USU associate professor Leonid Samoilov receives the honorary badge of the Ulyanovsk region "For faith and virtue"
The solemn ceremony of honoring residents of the region who achieved high results in various fields of activity was held on the eve of the Day of Russia. The awards were handed to our compatriots by Governor Sergey Morozov. “We are deservedly proud that the Simbirsk-Ulyanovsk land, our small homeland, has always played a great, supportive role in the history of Russia. Thank you so much for everything that you have done and continue doing for the benefit of your countrymen and compatriots” the head of the region emphasized in his speech. Leonid Samoilov, the doctor of physical and mathematical sciences, associate professor was awarded with the honorary sign “For Faith and Virtue” of the Ulyanovsk Region for his contribution to the development of the system of continuing education, the successes achieved in the education and upbringing of the younger generation and the many years of fruitful work in identifying and supporting gifted children.
