USU students and staff participate in the festive program of celebrating the Day of Russia
The flash mob "One country - one people" united leaders of youth public organizations, students, representatives of national diasporas. The organizer of the event was the youth government of the region, which is headed by Daria Mikhailova, a student of USU. The initiative was supported by activists of the flagship university.
Flash mob participants stretched the 30-meter flag of Russia along Goncharov Street and organized a mass performance of the country's anthem and patriotic songs. The organizers involved residents of high multi-storey houses who hung out the Russian flags in the windows and joined the anthem from the balconies of their houses.
This event became part of other events of the strategic project of USU "Region. Culture. Reset" which paid great attention to strengthening interethnic ties and fostering patriotism.
