The second Russian-Uzbek educational forum was held in the format of an online conference on May 27. Abdujabar Abduvakhitov,  Advisor to the President of Uzbekistan, Vladimir Chernov, Head of the Department for Interregional and Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation, Valery Falkov, Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation,  rectors of leading universities of the two countries spoke at the forum of higher educational institutions of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Uzbekistan. According to the organizers, the forum made it possible to strengthen and expand the Russian-Uzbek scientific and educational partnership, to discuss prospects for further cooperation.

We would like to remind that USU successfully cooperates with universities of Uzbekistan. Among the partners of the classical university of Ulyanovsk are Mirzo Ulugbek National University of Uzbekistan, Samarkand State University, Kokand State Pedagogical Institute named after Mukimi, Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute. The roadmap for interaction between USU and scientific and educational institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan provides for interactive communication mechanisms, joint events with the participation of students and teachers of the two countries in a remote mode, and implementation of projects in the field of intercultural communication.
