USU students and staff participate in the All-Russian Student Forum “Stop AIDS Together!”
The Foundation of Social and Cultural Initiatives, headed by the wife of Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev - Svetlana Medvedeva, held the All-Russian Stop HIV / AIDS campaign, whose main goal is to attract the attention of young people to the problem of the spread of HIV infection in Russia, to bring true and complete information about the virus . “Stop AIDS Together!” is a student forum dedicated to a large-scale educational campaign. The teleconference was organized in the framework of the forum to provide an opportunity for volunteers - students of Russian universities - to share their educational and preventive work experience. Students and teachers of the Faculty of Medicine and the Medical College of USU, sisters of mercy and representatives of the all-Russian public movement “Medical students-Volunteers” became participants in the event at the flagship university.
During the teleconference, they told how the All-Russian campaign “Stop HIV / AIDS” was held at Ulyanovsk State University. USU is the organizer of a series of events dedicated to this problem. The following are among them - a campaign lecture “Stop HIV Together”, a video case, a questionnaire “What do I know about HIV”, work on campaign sites, anonymous HIV testing, the conference “HIV infection: 30 years of a positive life”, the thematic event “Stop HIV-AIDS” and a round table with organizers and participants.
