Pavel Volkov, the acting chief federal inspector for the Ulyanovsk Region, Office of the Plenipotentiary Envoy of the President of Russia in the Volga Federal District visited the Museum of USU History and the center “Boiling Point”  and discussed the prospects for cooperation with the university.

Rector Boris Kostishko gave a presentation about the flagship university, talked about the formative years and development of USU, presented the recently created rehabilitation center, experience in project activities and international cooperation, as well as the university currency - ulcoin. “We provide  training in higher and secondary vocational education programs. Students receive training in 200 areas - from choreography and design to innovation and cosmology. In addition, there are 38 specialized departments where senior students have practical training directly at enterprises” said the Rector. Vice-Rector for Innovative development Dmitry Shabalkin familiarized the guest the creativity center “Boiling Point”.

Federal Inspector Pavel Volkov showed great interest in the development of the preeminent university, emphasizing its significant contribution to the successful development of the region, and promised to assist in  university initiatives in every possible way.
