Professional internships will become a “career elevator” for USU graduates
On September 26, the USU Center for Graduate Employment Assistance took part in a meeting-presentation of the project “Internships 2.0”, organized by the All-Russian People’s Front together with the Autonomous Non-Profit Organization “Russia is the Country of Opportunities”.
The project is based on a new procedure of interaction between a student, an
educational organization and a future employer, using student work and case
studies as a social elevator.
The meeting was attended by Ilya Syomin, the project manager of the “Internships 2.0”, member of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation, as well as the leaders and teaching staff representatives from leading universities of Ulyanovsk, employers and students.
The Ulyanovsk region is one of the pilot regions of the project, which is also one of the ten most active. To date, 115 cases from partner employers of the entity have been placed on the project platform, with a significant part of the tasks posted by the regional government.
In the framework of the event, agreements were signed between the Autonomous Non-profit Organization “Russia is the Country of Opportunities” and the leading universities of Ulyanovsk on cooperation in the project “Professional internships 2.0”.
