Over one hundred scientists from different regions discuss law problems at the flagship university
Today the 1st International Scientific Conference “Private Law and Public Law Problems of Contemporary Jurisprudence” is being held at USU, dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the Russian lawyer, arbitrator, doctor of legal sciences, professor of the USU criminal process department Georgy Abshilava.
At the opening ceremony of the conference, participants were welcomed by Dean of the Faculty of Law Sergei Morozov and Vice-Rector for Research and Information Technology Viktor Golovanov. The co-organizer of the conference, the president of the Ulyanovsk Region Law Chamber, Evgeny Malafeev emphasized that it is the combination of science and practice that determines the success of any branch of industry. Then the plenary meeting started, where participants made presentations on the private law and public law problems in contemporary jurisprudence. The first person to talk about the results of his scientific research was the hero of the day, Georgy Abshilava. The plenary session ended with taking memory photos. The work of the conference continued in sessions at the USU Faculty of Law.
