TAFISA 2019. 300 judo athletes assemble in the USU gym
On September 14, a judo master class was held at the USU sports and fitness center in the framework of the 1st TAFISA World Martial Arts Festival. It was conducted by Dmitry Nosov, the famous judo and sambo wrestler, Olympic medalist in Athens, Honored Master of Sports, founder of the school of martial arts, an actor of the film “The Way”.
About 300 people became participants in the master class: students of children’s
sports schools, students of the judo schools from 6 to 14 years old together
with their parents, coaches, students and teachers of the Faculty of Physical
Culture and Rehabilitation of USU.
“The center could hardly hold everyone,” said the dean of the FPCR Vladimir Valtsev. - Dmitry Nosov proved to be a wonderful teacher. During the lesson, he could talk, probably with every child. Children with great interest participated in the master class. It was a real school of will and fortitude for them.”
