USU specialists participate in the international forum "Silk Road - New Format - Green Standard" in Kyrgyzstan

The International Youth Forum “Silk Road - A New Format - Green Standard” is being held in the city of Cholpon-Ata (Kyrgyz Republic). The key event of the forum is the strategic game “Eurasia-2040”, during which participants will develop practical design solutions for the interaction of the countries of the Eurasian continent in the field of industry and trade, culture and education, ecology and safety, and will take part in the intellectual competition "Strategic Matrix - 2019: University 4.0 ”(with expert support from MEPhI) and the photo contest“ My Country ”. In addition, the program provides for panel discussions and round tables, educational seminars and workshops on trade, economic, cultural and educational cooperation.

During the sections, the delegation of the region presented the investment and cultural attractiveness of the Ulyanovsk region, presented the design work of educational organizations for the development of youth soft skills. “The Ulyanovsk region is a region with purposeful youth capable of independently implementing projects and promoting their own initiatives,” said Daria Mikhailova, chairman of the Ulyanovsk Region Youth Government, a student and a staff member.

The head of the youth policy and cultural work department, Kirill Glinkin, said in his speech that the development of soft skills is a new method used to educate and train a universal competitive specialist in higher education: “This direction is successfully being developed at USU by the students themselves as a form of informal education ”.

According to Maria Rogatkina, the deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the Ulyanovsk Region, the opportunities and approaches to the implementation of international youth policy in the region, participation in exchanges, as well as the development of joint business within incubators contribute to the comprehensive development of young Ulyanovsk citizens and their inclusion in solving real problems.
