USU and PJSC Sberbank conclude a strategic partnership agreement

graduates of legal and economic programs of study of USU will be able to fill vacancies
of specialists and managers in Sberbank of Russia, its subsidiaries and
affiliates and organizations, including those who got employer-sponsored
education. Teachers will have an opportunity to do a training program at the
bank. Joint programs of exchanging experience
and advanced training will be introduced.
Specialists of PJSC Sberbank will determine support measures for students of the Faculty of Law and Faculty of Economics, and USU staff, in turn, will take part in the development and examination of corporate training programs implemented by the bank. Financiers are going to take part in the educational process: they are going to give a series of lectures, seminars and practical classes for students, and act as scientific advisers of course and graduate qualification works.
“We have developed the course “Organization of work with problem assets ”, which complements the competencies of students. It includes practical exercises and training programs from leading experts. Listeners of the course are guaranteed to have an internship, and the best ones will be employed in the bank, - said Dmitry Gurulyov. - The acquired knowledge and skills will bring practical benefits to students and increase their value in the labor market. The course can be incorporated in the curriculum of bachelors and masters in economics and law. We are striving for mutually beneficial cooperation with flagship, preeminent universities and we already have experience of fruitful cooperation with Tyumen State University. ”
Boris Kostishko points out, this course is planned to be launched at USU in mid-September. “We consider this agreement as a basis for further development of relations and intend to expand cooperation in other areas of our activities,” the Rector added.
