USU students get Alfa-Bank scholarships
Not for the first year,
financiers have been providing support for talented students in the framework
of the Alfa Chance special scholarship program, which is being implemented in
17 universities of the country. Annually students of USU receive a scholarship.
These are representatives of different faculties and invariably the best of the
best - winners and prize-winners of Olympiads and competitions, those who got
high score points in the Unified State Exam, activists of events.
This time, eight students of Ulyanovsk State University were awarded with special
scholarships. All of them were the representatives of the fair sex. On March 15, the girls were
congratulated and awarded with the appropriate certificates and gifts by Dmitry
Frolov, the Chief Operating Officer of Alfa
Addressing the students, Dmitry Leonidovich said: “We strive to encourage students of various programs, without giving preference to economists. The essence of the Alfa-Chance project is not to train talented personnel for the banking sector. The charity program is designed to help future specialists in any industry to develop abilities confidently, achieve academic success, not stop at what has been achieved and become leaders. Supporting talented young people is an integral part of Alfa-Bank’s social policy and our contribution to the future of Russia. ”
The new scholarship recipients had a talk with Dmitry Leonidovich on various topics. They learned how he saw the bank of the future, what charitable activities Alfa-Bank carried out in addition to the provision of support to students, and even asked for advice on how to keep savings more securely. In turn, the guest asked about their plans for the future and their ideas about success.
