2019-03-07 12:14

The pilot release of the program was devoted to the topic “Online education versus traditional”. In the format of live communication, participants discussed the pros and cons of new trends in the transition to online learning.

The event at the media center on March 6 was attended by Rector of USU Boris Kostishko, the head of the youth project activity department Maxim Ilyushin and the director of OGKU Government for Citizens Svetlana Openysheva. One of the speakers was a third year student Anton Antonov, who is developing a project for an online course on augmented reality.

According to Oleg Samartsev, head of the department of journalism, philology, documentation and library science, the new talk show will systematically focus on the discussion of problems of the new information world, such as education, virtual and augmented reality, the digital economy and other modern trends.

“Now the project is at the launch stage, the format is being tested. We are planning that regular participants will appear in the talk show: Rector  Boris Kostishko, students and invited specialists. Programs will be released at least once a month” said Oleg Samartsev.
