Guests from the Kokand State Pedagogical Institute visit USU
During the three-day visit, the representatives
of the Kokand State Pedagogical Institute
named after Mukimi discussed the areas and prospects of possible cooperation with
the administration of the flagship university.
The delegation was made up of the head of the international
relations department Akhmad Najmeddinov,
the head of the department for the education quality supervision Nargiza Babayeva, the head of the Russian language
and literature department Nigora Kodirova and the head of the department of
defectology Madina Makhmudova.
The guests from Uzbekistan visited the campus on the Sviyaga River Embankment. the USU History Museum, the Faculty of Humanities and Social Technologies, familiarized themselves with the gallery of Honorary Professors, got acquainted with the Digital Economy Center and the strategic project “Digital Transformation Competence Workshop”. One of the items of the program was participation in the communication session “Products and Technologies of Virtual and Augmented Reality”.
A sightseeing tour of the city, as well as visits to museums and places of interest were organized for the colleagues from Uzbekistan.
The rector of the flagship university points out that USU has a particular focus on expanding cooperation with universities in Uzbekistan - one of the most friendly countries for Russia.
“After the participation of the USU delegation in the First Russian-Uzbek Educational Forum“ New Personnel for the New Economy ”, our partners were the National University of Uzbekistan named after Ulugbek, Samarkand State University and Kokand State Pedagogical Institute named after Mukimi with which Ulyanovsk State University signed a cooperation agreement and implementation of joint educational programs and training projects. Cultural exchange should become an important area of partnership, therefore the interaction of universities of the two countries implies the organization of academic exchanges, joint research and various events, ” said Boris Kostishko.
