Specialists in computer security receive diplomas
On January 21, diplomas were given to graduates
of the Faculty of Mathematics, Information and Aviation Technologies with a
degree in Computer Security. On this solemn day, the graduates were congratulated
by the Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs of the FMIAT Igor Sannikov, Head of the
Department of Information Security Alexander Andreev, Professor Sergey Ratseyev,
Associate Professor Andrey Ivantsov and the staff of the Dean’s Office. Three students completed their course with a red
diploma among the 13 graduates. During their training, students demonstrated
not only outstanding academic performance, but also high achievements in
sports, scientific activities and social work.
Training of specialists in computer security has been provided by the department of the Information Security since 2002. Students have a laboratory practical course on technical, hardware, software information protection tools, and gain practical skills in working with confidential information, including banking.
