The Flagship University hosts participants of the Russian-Japanese Youth Forum
The Russian-Japanese Youth Forum was opened on Wednesday, September 26 in Ulyanovsk. “46 students from universities in Japan, five representatives of the delegation of the Japan-Russian Youth Exchange Center and 50 students from two universities in Ulyanovsk participate in the forum," said Irina Lukyanova, Minister of Youth Development of the Region .
Okimoto, Secretary General of the Japan-Russia Youth Exchanges Center, said
that the forum would discuss four topics, the solution of which is important
for the further development of relations between the two countries. “The
first is the economy, the development of small and medium-sized businesses, the
second is health and sport, the third is Japanese in Russia and Russian in
Japan, the fourth is the preservation of traditions of the countries” he said.
On Thursday, a business and cultural program was prepared for the forum participants at Ulyanovsk State University. Round tables, foresight sessions and excursions will be held. The educational program includes four sections: "Sport and a healthy lifestyle", "Development of cooperation in the field of small and medium enterprises", "Russian in Japan and Japanese in Russia", "Preservation and popularization of the national culture."
