2018-06-08 07:58

The branch of the Volga-Vyatka Central Administration of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation and Ulyanovsk State University signed an agreement on cooperation in the field of financial literacy. The document was signed by Vladimir Filimonov, the head of the Ulyanovsk branch of the Volga-Vyatka Central Administration of the Central Bank of Russia, and Boris Kostishko, Rector of  Ulyanovsk State University. The parties will implement projects aimed at increasing the financial culture of the region's inhabitants. In particular, the agreement involves holding thematic competitions, olympiads, supporting public and private initiatives in this area, and co-training volunteers in financial issues.
"Our task is to teach citizens to orient themselves in modern financial products and services, make informed decisions that will enable them to multiply their capital and not become victims of fraudsters," said Vladimir Filimonov, the head of the Ulyanovsk department of the Volga-Vyatka Administration of the Bank of Russia.
- The signed agreement is the next stage of comprehensive educational work. Volunteer students trained will help to reach a wider audience in financial literacy classes. "
The first volunteers from  USU students, trained by the staff of the Ulyanovsk branch of the VVU Bank of Russia, are ready to independently conduct financial culture lessons
