International students of USU participate in the opening ceremony of the international exhibition "People who changed the world"
The exhibition "People Who Changed the World: Episode 1: Germany, Russia, Vietnam, India, China" will be held from 3 to 14 March at the Lenin Memorial in the framework of the festival "World, Era, Names". The five public and political leaders who have changed the worldview and life of entire nations - Karl Marx (Germany), Vladimir Lenin (Russia), Ho Chi Minh (Vietnam), Mao Zedong (China), Mahatma Gandhi (India)will be the first heroes of the project. For the first time the exhibition is dedicated to several personalities. Students of Ulyanovsk State University are the representatives of all the countries, the leaders of which the exposition is devoted to. The Lenin Memorial is a partner of the preeminent university of the region in the implementation of the strategic project "Region, Culture, Reset." That is why the organizers of the exhibition invited international students and their teachers to take part in the start of the international project. Yvonne Perzgen, the lecturer of the German Academic Exchange Service DAAD, a teacher of the university told the audience about Karl Marx, about how they think of his personality in Germany. Students from China, India and Vietnam sang, read poems in their native languages.
