USU staff participates in summer program in Tianjin, China
A group of USU staff visited Tianjin International Culture Institute (TICI), China, to participate in a summer program designed specifically for foreign visitors interested in the Chinese language and culture.
The group, which was hosted by the partner institution for ten days, August 23 - September 2, took classes in calligraphy, wu-shu, massage and aucupuncture.
In addition to classes, the group members toured some of the most famous sights, including the Great Wall of China and the Beidaihe beach resort.
Tianjin International Culture Institute has been a USU partner since last May, when an official TICI delegation visited Ulyanovsk to sign a cooperative agreement that is expected to promote academic and cultural exchanges.
